The Pitbull Tackle HD Conical Ring is a well-built hoop net that has been engineered to withstand the tough use of Northern California Dungeness Crab Fishing. This 36" hoop net weighs 15lbs and uses net mesh which is twice as thick as the competition. The mesh size (hole size of the netting) also is half the diameter of other hoop nets and is wound much tighter to the ringed frame which lets crab walk up the sides of the ring easier and keeps them inside longer. Everything on this trap has been built heavier and thicker to withstand hydraulic winches and rough oceans day after day.
