Big Snap

The Pitbull Tackle Big Snap was designed to be a heavy-duty upgrade on a traditional rope or chain fish stringer. The Pitbull Tackle Big Snap operates just like an oversized Duolock Snap, hence the name "Big Snap". The Big Snap closes and opens with a "spring-loaded" design in the top right corner. The "spring-loaded" tension is plenty strong enough to keep large fish on without fear of the snap opening, yet remains easy enough to open where any angler can do it. Another additional feature was the addition of the slip-resistant handle. This offers a convenient place to hold the Big Snap and carry your catch back to the car or up and down the shore. To top it off, the solid Stainless Steel design creates a tool with superb corrosion resistance, even in saltwater.

Designed for larger fish in mind, the initial concept was created for spear-fisherman who wanted a way to quickly and easily secure their catch while down underwater.
