This Pitbull Tackle Hook Spacer is a rigging tool which can be used in a number of ways. These 6.5" plastic sleeves are hollow through the center allowing line to be threaded through each sleeve. One end of the sleeve has a wider opening if the spacer is being used with a hook. The hook eye can slide into the larger opening and line can be threaded right though the rest of the tube. These plastic tubes can be cut to length to allow for customized rigging to your specifications. This is a popular item used for Salmon trolling as you can use the plastic sleeves to space hooks back farther on the bait to help you avoid short-strikes and missed opportunities. These plastic tubes also work great as a line chafe gaurd which can be used for a variety of species. The diameter of these sleeves will fit line up to about 100lb, thicker/heavier line will not fit through the line-through tube.
