The Pitbull Tackle Salmon Trolling Sinker Release is a 100% stainless steel weight release mechanism made popular along the California Coast. The spring loaded pin inside the chamber can be pulled up and down to insert the eye of your preferred lead cannonball weight. When the release is used while trolling and a fish pulls on the lure behind the release the spring will condense and release the lead cannonball allowing you to fight the fish directly. The spring tension was meticulously calibrated to ensure the weight is released on the fish worth keeping while also strong enough to keep the weight from dropping on a small undersized catch. The spring, pin, frame, and swivels are all constructed of stainless steel to ensure a quality product trip after trip.
