Our original Pitbull Tackle Bucktail Jigs gives anglers a chance to fish a tried and true lure but in hard to find heavier sizes. These jigs are comprised of UV-Enhanced Bucktail material and small feathers mixed in offering a suprisingly compact profile for a heavy jig. We have found that these jigs are an effective deepwater bottomfish lure which can be fished alone or used as the angler's weight with a teaser fly above. A local Bay Area charter boat named the Happy Hooker has pioneered a use for these jigs by using them as their lead drifting weight which allows them to target big fish near the bottom and create an even more enticing presentation for Halibut. No matter how you fish them these jigs are sure to cacth the eye of hungry fish down in the depths.
